René Mosele attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, where he studied with Hal Crook, George Garzone, Ed Tomassi and others.
Living in Zurich, Switzerland he has become an active performer in the European music scene. As a trombonist he has played with groups such as the George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band and the renowned NDR Big Band. He has performed with musicians such as Bobby McFerrin, Joe Lovano, Dave Douglas, Larry Schneider, Alex Sipiagin, Joe Magniarelli and many others.
Over the last few years he has been working with Bands such as Chamber Soul, Grand Mothers Funck the James Brown Tribute Show, Joe Haider’s 11 and many others.
Since 2006 René Mosele has been teaching in Lausanne at the Conservatoire de Musique Departement Jazz.
